Mother of alleged dating app predator Timothy Olson says son is innocent

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The mother of the alleged dating app predator, Timothy Olson, is speaking out saying her son is innocent. 

Olson's mother told one of our reporters off camera that she doesn't believe her son would harm anyone.

Olson was taken into custody earlier this week by Franklin police.

He's been arrested on kidnapping and identity theft and burglary charges after police say he kidnapped and robbed a 79-year-old woman last week. 

He's being held in the Milwaukee County Jail while awaiting formal charges.
