Motorcyclist transported by Flight for Life after crash in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is injured after a single motorcycle crash on Saturday, Sept. 28. 

 It happened in the Town of Mitchell in Sheboygan County, near CTH F and CTH W around 1:07 p.m. 

According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office, a witness said a motorcyclist was in a passing zone, traveling at a normal speed. After passing, the cyclist maneuvered back to the westbound lane, and they entered a slight curve in the roadway. The motorcyclist entered the loose gravel of the shoulder as they tried to negotiate the curve. The motorcyclist could not get back on the road before hitting the culvert, which threw the operator off the motorcycle. 

The sheriff's office says the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet. 

The motorcyclist was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.
