Mount Pleasant PD welcomes newest K-9 member, 'Grizzly'

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Mount Pleasant Police Department has a new K-9 team.
This is Grizzly, with his handling officer Jared Smetana.
Grizzly is just turning two years old.
He was born May 1, 2022 in Hungary, before moving to Holland and training as a police working dog.
Smetana and Grizzly have been training together for the past six weeks.
The K-9 received significant distinctions for his exceptional ability to track a scene and detect narcotics.
