MPD: 1 dead, 2 injured in 3 overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating three shootings that took place between 9:30 p.m. Thursday Sept. 2 and midnight Sept. 3. 

The homicide occurred on Thursday at approximately 9:30 p.m., near Lisbon Avenue and Sherman Boulevard.  A man between the ages of 30 and 35 was found dead. 

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects at this time.

Police are investigating another, separate shooting that occurred Thursday at approximately 10 p.m., near 13th and Keefe. 

A 46-year-old Milwaukee man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. 

A third shooting took place near 41st and North, around 12:05 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 3.

The victim was a 17-year-old boy. He sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect at this time.
