MPD: 20-year-old seriously injured in crash on 22nd and Howard

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 20-year-old driver has suffered life threatening injuries following an early morning crash, according to Milwaukee police.
The crash took place on Monday, Jan. 27 at around 1:53 a.m. near 22nd and Howard, according to MPD.
The driver was reportedly driving eastbound on Howard before crashing into a tree. Responders transported the driver to a hospital for treatment of injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation.
