MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is investigating a shooting that happened near 42nd and Capitol on Wednesday, July 7.

Police say a 30-year-old Milwaukee man was shot at 11:49 a.m.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Police are seeking unknown suspects.
