MPD: 35-year-old dead following crash near 13th and Fond du Lac

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Dept. is investigating a crash that took place early Monday morning that resulted in the death of a driver.

The crash took place on Monday, Oct. 7 at around 1:50 a.m. near 13th and Fond du Lac as police say a 35-year-old was driving westbound on Fond du Lac. The car crashed into a light pole and a tree.

Medical responders arrived, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
