MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A private ambulance struck multiple vehicles early Thursday morning near 94th and Silver Spring, according to the Milwaukee Police Dept.

Following the collision, officials say that an individual from one of the impacted vehicles brandished a firearm and threatened the ambulance driver. That suspect then reportedly fled the scene, sparking an ongoing police investigation.

The crash reportedly occurred on Thursday, Sept. 28, at around 3:28 a.m. All injuries are said to be non-life threatening, and victims received treatment at a local hospital.

CBS 58's crew on the scene witnessed the ambulance being towed away following the incident.

MPD continues to seek the unknown individual involved in the incident.
