MPD investigates three shootings in Milwaukee Saturday

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police are investigating three shootings that happened Saturday night.  Fortunately,  none of the shooting were fatal.

Around 7:15 PM, an 18-year-old woman was shot while she was walking in the area of N 16th and W Wright Streets.   According to the MPD, shots were fired in the area and the victim was struck as she was crossing the street.   The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her wounds.   The Police are searching for suspects in the incident and a motive for the shooting.

A struggle between two people resulted in a 17-year-old man being shot.  The incident happened around 9:25 PM in the area of N 1st Street and W Auer Avenue.  The victim is being treated at a local hospital as the Police continue to investigate the incident.

At 10:15 PM, a 22-year-old man was shot while in the area of N Sarnow and N 36th Street.   The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time, but the MPD says a vehicle was seen fleeing the scene of the shooting.   The victim is being treated at a local hospital as the investigation continues.
