MILWAUKEE (UPDATE) -- The 30-year-old Milwaukee man died from his injuries while being treated at a local hospital. 

Police continue to investigate the circumstances behind the shooting.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near Burleigh and Hopkins on Monday, July 26.

Police say a 30-year-old Milwaukee man was shot around 12:30 p.m.

The victim was seriously injured, but is in stable condition at a local hospital.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Police are seeking unknown suspects.
