Milwaukee police search for car believed to be involved in hit-and-run

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is searching for a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit-and-run. 

It happened on Friday, Sept. 6 near Glen Park and Green Bay around 11:40 p.m. 

Police say the driver of the car disregarded a red light, struck two pedestrians, and fled. The 17-year-old pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries. The second pedestrian, a 34-year-old, refused medical treatment, according to police

The car is wanted for recklessly endangering safety and a hit-and-run, causing great bodily harm. It is a black Infiniti 2 door car, likely a G37x, according to police. The vehicle has no license plates and should have damage to the hood and windshield. 

Police say the vehicle was last seen near Green Bay and Hampton.
