MPD: Shooting near Villard and Teutonia leaves 23-year-old dead

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A shooting early Thursday, June 13, left a 23-year-old woman dead, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

Officials say the shooting took place near Villard and Teutonia around 4 a.m.

The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office Thursday as Rosalind Rogers.

CBS 58's team at the scene early Thursday noted that the shooting took place in the parking lot of the McDonald's restaurant in the area.

Unknown suspects are being sought by police, and the public is being asked to provide any information that may help the investigation.
