MPD squad involved in crash near 20th and Oklahoma

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two police officers were hurt when their squad was hit while chasing a car following an armed robbery Tuesday night, Jan. 2. 

It happened near 20th and Oklahoma. 

Officials say four teenagers were arrested after the crash. 

This happened hours after a tactical situation near Lincoln Park during which a Milwaukee police officer was shot in the leg. 

All are expected to recover.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department says two people were taken to an area hospital following a crash involving a Milwaukee Police Department squad Tuesday night, Jan. 2.

Officials say it happened just before 7 p.m. near 20th and Oklahoma.

A police officer on-scene said two officers sustained what are believed to be minor injuries. He said it appears a reckless driver hit the squad.
