MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Monday kicks off a week of virtual commencements for Milwaukee public high schools.
Graduates and their families can watch their school's class president, valedictorian, salutatorian, commencement speakers and principal on the official MPS YouTube page.
All ceremonies will be available for download as a keepsake for seniors and their families, and all graduates will get a complete printed program that recognizes every graduate.
A few ceremonies were already held Monday.
Pride of Pewaukee, J.J. Watt, was one of the commencement speakers, and dropped some wisdom on the graduates.
"I encourage you to have big dreams," he said. "Whatever you want to do, whether it's sports or whether you want to be a doctor or a lawyer, or whether you want to be a teacher or inspire the next generation, whether you want to do charitable work...whatever it is that you want to do, I encourage you to dream as big as you can possibly dream."
Some other commencement speakers included NBA star Kevon Looney, Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes and Health Commissioner Dr. Jeanette Kowalik.
