MSOE officers help catch suspect wanted for breaking into vending machines

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Monday afternoon around 5:27 officers with MSOE stopped someone not affiliated with the school from entering Margaret Loock Residence Hall. The officer then recognized the person as a suspect accused of breaking into a stealing cash from vending machines around downtown.
When an officer caught up with the suspect, he become combative and hit the officer. After a brief struggle, the officer was able to put handcuffs on the suspect before Milwaukee Police arrived to arrest the man.
In a Facebook post, MSOE thanked a citizen that helped the officers detain the person. They called the citizen a hero.
