UPDATE: Suspect arrested after short pursuit in connection with shots fired near Highway 175

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputies attempted to stop a suspect near Howard and Lake Drive in St. Francis on Monday, March 4 they thought was responsible for a shots fired incident that happened on a Highway 175 on-ramp on February 3.
During the traffic stop around 7:15 a.m. Monday morning, the suspect hit the back of an unmarked squad car and fled the scene. Deputies pursued the suspect before they stopped in a parking lot on Lake Drive.
No one was hurt in the short pursuit.
The suspect has been arrested for recklessly endangering safety and fleeing.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sunday morning, February 3, just before 10:30 the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office received reports of shots fired on the southbound on-ramp to Highway 175 near Lisbon Avenue.
During an investigation, it was determined that multiple homes near 47th and Garfield were hit by gunfire. Deputies canvassed the area to see if anyone was hurt but no victims have been found.
Multiple bullet casings were recovered on the on-ramp to Highway 175.
