MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Music fans are flocking to Milwaukee's lakefront for the second weekend of Summerfest, June 26-28.
Summerfest is open noon to midnight each day, with parking lots opening at 9 a.m. each morning. Summerfest is a cashless event. General admission tickets are $30 but there are ways to get in for free nearly every day.
Thursday, June 26, is throwback Thursday at the Big Gig; you can get a ticket for $5 between noon at 6 p.m., and some drinks will also be half off.
CBS 58's Natalie Shepherd spent the day at Summerfest, live from the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard stage.
She was joined by Jeffrey Carter, from Nino's Southern Sides, to talk about the inspiration behind his savory soul foods.
