MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks fans are getting in on the NBA Draft action, attending several watch parties hosted by the Bucks Tuesday night.
Brothers Bar and Grill on Water Street in downtown Milwaukee held one of many, and fans brought the energy.
It was the ultimate Bucks fan experience Tuesday, with a DJ, Bucks trivia, games, prizes, giveaways and so much more.
It’s been a rough 24 hours for Bucks fans after Monday's report that Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis were traded, but fans are staying strong, continuing to stand by their home team.
“You have to stay true to your team, you can’t give up just because we lost Giannis,” said Mason Peets, a longtime Bucks fan. “We still have many more years coming up.”
Fans say it’s a hard goodbye but are eager for a new era and to see what comes next, with the new young Bucks added to the team on Tuesday.
“I’m a big Rylo fan, so I’m excited to see what he does with some of the new people that are coming in, see how he meshes with some of our new players that we are getting tonight,” said Jayla Richter, a loyal Bucks fan. “So excited to see a younger team kind of step forward and what they are going to bring to the plate next season.”
