MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Near West Side Partners is hosting its third annual "Near West Side Week" to highlight the community's growth and diverse offerings. The week-long celebration starts Sunday, Sept. 10 and lasts until Saturday, Sept. 16.

Activities range from arts and community gatherings to business development events.

On Sunday, a Paint & Sip class will kick off the week at Washington Park Media Center between 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Monday will mark the official kick-off celebration at Buffalo Boss from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday features hard hat tours at Concordia 27 between 5 - 7 p.m., where Near West Side Partners will introduce its future office space.

Wednesday will see the sixth Rev-Up MKE Live Pitch Competition at The Rave/Eagles Club from 5 - 8:30 p.m. where business ideas will be voted on to pick the "audience choice winner."

For health-conscious attendees, a lunch hour will be available at Potawatomi Wgema Campus on Thursday between 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. featuring healthy grab-and-go options.

Friday's activities include a virtual scavenger hunt launching at 12 p.m. via the GooseChase app and a movie night showing The Super Mario Bros. Movie at Merrill Park from 6 - 9:30 p.m. The movie itself will begin at around 7:15 p.m.

The week will conclude on Saturday with a Homebuyer Resource Fair from 10 a.m. until noon and a block party at The New State Park from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. with musical acts such as Your Move MKE, V Funk, the MKE Youth Theatre, DJ sets with breakdancing and more.
