MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A new documentary pays tribute to a Bay View veteran killed in the line of duty.
Captain Lance Sijan was the first and only Medal of Honor recipient in Air Force Academy history.
He died in a Vietnam prison camp 50 years ago.
You can hear Captain Sijan’s story from his family and fellow prisoners of war in a new documentary that will premiere June 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Avalon Theater.
