FITCHBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A new Brewers mural is now on display in Dane County. The new art in Fitchburg is called "7th Inning Stretch."
The muralist says she was inspired by the tradition because it's an opportunity to share in the love of baseball with your neighbors.
"The design inspiration for the 7th Inning Stretch was all about the fan experience and the joy of going to a baseball game," muralist Emily Balsley said. "And meeting your neighbors and high-fiving and just kind of that feeling of camaraderie and community spirit when you're at a game. We're all there for a collective purpose and we're all here to cheer on the home team, so I really wanted to capture those little moments in the crowd."
Balsley has murals around the state, including in Milwaukee, Madison and Janesville.
