MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman is set to receive a new car after a dealership in New York took notice of her story and decided to help.

Makayla Starks reported seeing a racial slur on her oil change sticker after visiting an Oak Creek dealership last month. A dealership outside John F. Kennedy International Airport saw her story and wanted to take action.

Family Nissan, a newly established business in Inwood, N.Y., is giving Starks a new Nissan Leaf, which has a retail price of $28,000.

"Why don’t we give her an electric car, so she never has to endure an oil change again. Or ever have to look up and see an oil change sticker," said Ramzey Rizk, dealer principal of Family Nissan.

He added, "Imagine getting back into that car after your next service."

Starks will travel to New York on Saturday, March 1 to receive the car. The dealership has also reportedly has planned additional surprises for her visit.
