Oak Creek man charged with vandalizing Racine synagogue

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An Oak Creek man is now charged with vandalizing a Racine synagogue last fall.

Federal prosecutors say 22-year-old Yousef Barasneh spray-painted a swastika and other anti-Semitic images at Beth Israel Sinai's temple last September.

The criminal complaint alleges that Barasneh is a member of "The Base." It's a neo-Nazi extremist group, and he conspired with other members to vandalize minority-owned property, including property used by Jewish citizens.
