Officials respond to large fire near 53rd and Burnham in West Allis

CBS 58 WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities are responding to a large fire near 53rd and Burnham in West Allis on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Our CBS 58's AJ Bayatpour confirmed the fire is at the still-under-construction site of the new West Allis municipal building.
As of 11:15 a.m. it appears crews have the fire under control.
Thick, black flames have been spotted from the fire as far as Oak Creek.
