Officials say "ISIS" threat at Kenosha schools is a hoax

In Kenosha, concern over a text message circulating among students has the school district is responding. The text said that due to a bomb threat by "ISIS,"  school would be closed. That's not the case though.

A Facebook post from the Kenosha Unified School District says that officials believe this is a hoax. It also says "school will be in session as usual" today and goes on to remind students that spreading false threats will not be taken lightly and may result in "suspension or expulsion."

Kenosha Police say there was also a bomb threat emailed to Bradford High School, but that situation has been resolved. Officers arrested the juvenile they say was responsible for the threat.
