OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) - A man is dead after a late-night crash in Oak Creek Wednesday, July 30th, which shut down all northbound lanes of I-41/94 at Rawson Avenue for an extensive period of time.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office states that one vehicle and a semi were involved in this accident. Once MCSO deputies and Oak Creek Police and Fire first responders were on the scene, life saving measures were performed on one of the drivers. Despite their efforts, a man in his mid to late twenties was pronounced dead on the scene.

Due to the severity of the accident and the need to preserve evidence, northbound lanes were only just reopened late this morning. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
