PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The primaries are still a ways away but some well-known politicians are joining candidates on the campaign trail.
On Friday, House Speaker Paul Ryan and Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner joined Leah Vukmir at a rally in Pewaukee. More than 200 supporters were in attendance. Ryan says he backs Vukmir because of who she is and what she has done.
"She's earned our trust, she's earned our support, the kind of person we want representing us is someone who shares our values," said Rep. Paul Ryan (R) House Speaker.
US Senator Tammy Baldwin will also bring along a well-known politician with her campaign. Senator Bernie Sanders will campaign with Baldwin in Eau Claire on July 14th.
