Overnight fire damages three homes in Racine

RACINE-- Neighbors on the 300-block of 10th Street in Racine said they heard loud pops and woke up to a bright orange glow around midnight Monday.

Racine Firefighters spent more than two hours battling flames at a home near 10th St. and Wisconsin Avenue.

The fire spread to two other homes on the 1000-block of Wisconsin Ave.  Several people are displaced.

Kim Hindmon's cousin lives inside one of the damaged homes with her two children.

"I was just praying to God that they were okay, you know and nothing happened to them," said Hindmon.

Racine Police say no one was hurt.  Investigators are still figuring out what caused the fire.
