MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There are six days remaining until the start of the Wisconsin State Fair and its signature cream puffs.
On Friday, the tasty treat was the center of a messy competition at the Ozaukee County Fair.
A cream puff eating contest featured local celebrities including State Senator Duey Stroebel and Ozaukee County Undersheriff Christy Knowles.
The challenge? Be the first to finish one cream puff.
The winner was local 4-H member Timothy Gierach, who had one goal in mind.
"To beat the sheriff's department," Gierach said.
Timothy says it depends on his schedule, but he's more than willing to take on the sheriff's department and other competitors again next year.
