
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers have signed wide receiver Mecole Hardman, the team announced Thursday, March 20. General Manager Brian Gutekunst confirmed the transaction.
Hardman, a seventh-year player from the University of Georgia, was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has played in 79 regular season games, making 28 starts, while also appearing in 14 postseason games.
He recorded 178 receptions for 2,302 yards and 16 touchdowns in his career.
He has also contributed on special teams, averaging 23.8 yards per kick return and 9.2 yards per punt return.
