Packers Launch 2016 "Rookie Reporter" Contest
The Green Bay Packers and Edvest today announced the 2016 “Rookie Reporter,” contest, which will award six Wisconsin children the opportunity to be a Packers “Rookie Reporter” for the 2016 NFL season, a $1,000 Edvest college savings gift card, four tickets to a 2016 regular season Packers home game, and autographed merchandise.
The contest, which was previously held in 2015, launches on June 4, and runs through July 17.
“Last year, over 8,000 Wisconsin youths were entered to become a ‘Rookie Reporter’,” said James DiUlio, director of the Wisconsin 529 College Savings Plan. “We are excited to partner with the Green Bay Packers again this year to bring back the contest. Along with the opportunity to jump start the winner’s college saving account, we look forward to welcoming a new class of ‘Rookie Reporters’ this season.”
“Rookie Reporter” is open to Wisconsin residents who are parents, grandparents, or legal guardians of a child age 6-15, who also reside in the state of Wisconsin.
“Rookie Reporter” is sponsored by the Green Bay Packers and the Edvest College Savings Plan.
