Packers pay tribute to 30th anniversary of LeRoy Butler's Lambeau Leap
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Thirty years ago today, Packers Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler scored a touchdown and just kept running, until he took what's considered the very first Lambeau Leap into the end zone stands in Green Bay.
Since that day, scores of Packers players have celebrated by jumping into the arms of green and gold fans.
Songs have been written about the leap and there's a sculpture outside the stadium dedicated to it.
"To the best fans in the world, to the best place: Happy anniversary, Lambeau Leap!"
