Packers QB Jordan Love ruled out for Week 17 matchup at Lambeau
CBS 58 GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Packers QB Jordan Love has been ruled out for Saturday night's game at home as Green Bay takes on the Baltimore Ravens.
Love left last week's game against the Chicago Bears after getting hit helmet to helmet in the second quarter.
Packers' backup QB Malik Willis played the rest of the game, as the Bears defeated the Packers 22-16 in overtime.
Today, the Packers announced Love will be sideline for the Week 17 game at Lambeau, with just two games left to play in the regular season.
Despite the injury, the Packers have clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs, after the Detroit Lions lost to the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Eve.
And the Packers still have an outside shot at winning the NFC North division as well.
In order to win the division, the Packers would have to win their remaining two games, and the Bears would have to lose their last two contests against the 49ers and Lions.
The Packers finish the regular season against the Ravens and on the road vs. divisional foe Minnesota Vikings.
The NFL playoffs begin on Saturday, January 11.
