WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- A pair of local nonprofits are looking out for families in need of some extra help.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Birthworkers United are hoping to serve meals to 200 pregnant families every month throughout the course of 2025. 

It's a continuation of their Nurturing Collaborative Program. 

In addition to providing both medically tailored food and wellness boxes, the Nurturing Collaborative Program creates social connectedness through a series of in-person workshops that include prenatal and postpartum education and support, stress relief, self-care, food preparation, mental health, and community networking.
