Parra homers to lead Brewers to 4-3 win over Giants

MILWAUKEE - Carlos Gomez homered and drove in three runs, and Gerardo Parra's solo homer in the seventh inning proved to be the difference in a 4-3 Brewers win Tuesday night at Miller Park.

Jimmy Nelson threw five scoreless innings before allowing a three-run homer to Pablo Sandoval to tie the game at three a piece. Parra did the rest with his first home run as a Brewer.

Francisco Rodriguez pitched the ninth to earn his 33rd save.
