Pedestrian fatally struck by semi near I-94 at Moorland in Waukesha County

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fatal pedestrian accident is currently under investigation in Waukesha County.

According to law enforcement, a pedestrian was hit by a semi on I-94 near Moorland around 6:22 a.m. on Sunday.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The area was shut down for several hours while the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department conducted their investigation.

Details surrounding the accident haven't been released yet.
