Driver who killed couple in wrong-way crash sentenced to prison
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Saturday, Jan. 17, brought another round of protests across the southeast Wisconsin area against recent actions by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Trump administration.
That includes one event organized by 'Waukesha Resist."
Dozens of demonstrators gathered near Cutler Park. They lined the streets holding signs and chanted to make their voices heard.
Many of the passing drivers honked in solidarity.
"I was scared to come today, but I knew I had to," said protester Adrianna Jorgenson.
Another protest Saturday took place in Kenosha.
