Pius HS will resume classes with extra security precautions Monday following graffiti threat
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Pius Catholic High School in Milwaukee is planning to allow students and staff back into the building for classes next Monday, Nov. 11.
This past Monday, students were sent home for the week after threatening graffiti was found on a school entrance.
The school has released surveillance video showing the vandalism suspect at work. You can see the person wearing an orange ski mask, walking up to the building with what looks like a paint can. A different camera shows the suspect actually painting. There are multiple shots, and the video ends with the suspect running away. We've shown security photos of that person on a bicycle earlier this week.
No arrests have been made yet. Police thoroughly searched the building this week, and when Pius Catholic reopens Monday, students and staffers will walk through metal detectors and be wanded for security.
