Police investigate double shooting on near 23rd and Vilet
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that took place on Thursday, Sept. 14 around 1:20 p.m.
The shooting occurred near 23rd and Vilet.
The first victim is reportedly a 26-year-old who was transported to the hospital with a non-fatal injury while the second victim is a reported to be a 44-year-old who also sustained a non-fatal injury before being transported to a local hospital.
According to the police, the circumstances leading up to the shooting are being investigated, but they believe the shooting is related to unknown suspects exchanging gunfire near the victims.
Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
