Police investigating after shots fired during attempted robbery causes crash

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating after shots were fired during an attempted robbery incident on the city's south side. 

Investigators say it happened around 11:00 a.m. on August 29 on S. 35 Street near W. National Avenue. Police say the victim met up with the suspect to sell a video game. When the victim tried to make the exchange with the suspect, the suspected pointed a gun at the victim and tried to rob him. The victim tried to leave in his vehicle but as the victim was driving away the suspect shot into the vehicle multiple times causing the victim to crash into another car. 

Milwaukee Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are looking for the suspect.
