WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A proposal to ban e-cigarettes on Waukesha County grounds passed unanimously Monday, March 6.
The original ordinance banned smoking in many places around the county.
Since it was written in 1990, the description did not include smokeless tobacco products.
New wording approved Monday changes that.
Peter Wolff, a Waukesha County supervisor, says employees at the courthouse approached him about the usage of vapes outside of the building.
"It bothers some people walking into a cloud from one of those vaping devices," Wolff said.
Wolff says any place with a posted "no smoking" sign now also applies to vaping devices.
