MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Today's beautiful weather brought out plenty of people to the mini-golf course, and for a good cause.

On Friday, June 14, First Stage hosted a "Putt-A-Palooza" fundraiser at the Holey Mackerel in Greenfield, with mini golf, a bounce house, raffles, and plenty of other games, with all an 80's theme.

First Stage in Milwaukee is one of the nation's leading youth theater programs.

They are hoping to raise $10,000 toward their mission of "transforming lives through theater."

"Any funding that can go towards the arts and support it especially in this post covid era is so meaningful and important," said Maddy Corson, special events manager with First Stage.

Today was First Stage's first ever mini-golf summer fundraiser.

Their annual largest fundraiser is the Make Believe Ball, hosted in the spring.
