RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) --Â Racine Art Museum and Mahogany Gallery, a local art organization, are co-organizing an outdoor music event at the Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts.
"Groovn in the Garden," scheduled for Thursday, July 27, will feature a mix of NeoSoul, R&B and funk music performed by local artists.
Tyler Potter, Marketing and Communications Specialist with the Racine Art Museum joined us on Tuesday, July 11 to discuss details.
The grounds will open at 5 p.m. with background music from DJs Fly vs. Fly. The VersaTile Band will start a two-hour set incorporating guest musicians at 6 p.m. The event is collaborating with local eateries for pre-ordered meal kits or patrons can opt for an on-site grill menu or bring their own provisions.
