Racine County fire takes lives of three pets

RAYMOND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fire in Racine County left one dog and two cats dead, according to police.

Today, on May 26, at 2:32 p.m., police responded to a fire in the area of County Highway G and US Highway 45 in the Town of Raymond.

Police say when they arrived on scene, they found a barn in flames.

Officials say no people were inside the barn.

Multiple fire departments were at the scene to get rid of the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

County Highway G was closed for two hours due to the incident, according to police.
