A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- What's ahead on the calendar in Racine County? Cari Greving from Visit Racine County joined us on Monday, Nov. 11 with a preview of what's ahead.
Burlington’s “Light Up the Night” is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. The event will feature a kickoff of the holiday season, with local businesses staying open late and a variety of holiday experiences.
The “Christmas Carnival of Lights” at Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia will run from Saturday, Nov. 23 to Dec. 31. Visitors can drive through displays featuring over 2 million lights.
Downtown Racine’s “Small Business Saturday” is set for Saturday, Nov. 30 to feature local shopping promotions and an appearance by the Grinch.
The Racine Art Museum’s Wustum Museum will host a “Free Drop-In for Art” session on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Participants can engage in various art projects.
“Dan & Ray’s Rendering Thanks” will offer a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Festival Hall in Racine. The event is open to all community members.
