Racine man charged after drugs and firearms found in home with infant present

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man has been charged with multiple felonies after investigators say they found cocaine, marijuana and firearms inside a home where an 8-month-old child was living.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office, authorities executed a search warrant on Friday, March 21 at a home near 11th and Memorial as part of a drug investigation.

Oscar D. Wells, 55, was taken into custody after suspected cocaine was found on him and more was discovered throughout the home. Deputies reported locating two firearms, including one inside a crib, and large quantities of marijuana.

Wells faces six felony charges, including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of a firearm by a felon.
