RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man is now charged for causing a major crash, killing teenager Tyreana Scales and seriously injuring four of her friends.

Salvador Coronado is charged with first degree reckless homicide and four counts of recklessly endangering safety.

The crash happened in the early hours of March 9.

Court documents say Coronado was seen by a deputy going more than 90 miles per hour, lost sight of the car, then found the crash.

When officers searched Coronado's car they found a bottle of liquor, though it wasn't clear if the bottle was open.

The court set his bond at $100,000 cash Wednesday. He's due back for a hearing in one week.
