RACINE, WI (CBS 58) - Bryan Cherry joined us for Ra- Sing & Me in studio this week!
Cherry is a musician and poet from Milwaukee.
In the fall of 2021, Cherry won the Wisconsin Area Music Award for best R&B/Soul musician in Wisconsin.
Cherry released the following information about himself to Racine & Me:
"In 2022 I released two albums, “Trainwreck” in April and then “The Power” in August. All of the songs on both records have garnered airplay on the radio. Bandcamp.com just reviewed our latest record “The Power” which was extremely exciting because there are so many albums on their website. In August I did a tour that went Detroit-Pittsburgh-Philadelphia-Richmond, VA-Charlotte-Nashville-Memphis-St. Louis and the Quad Cities. It was a lot of fun being able to connect with new people. I also have published two books of poetry which were both published in 2019. One was on a press out of La Crosse and the other one was out on a press out of Madison. I have a show at the High Dive in Milwaukee this Friday Nov. 18th at 9pm. I have played a lot in Racine and look forward to returning soon," said Cherry.
