Racine police chief position offered to Maurice Robinson from Cincinnati Police Department

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) --- The city of Racine may have found their new police chief.

The Police and Fire Commission offered the position to Maurice Robinson.

Robinson is currently with the Cincinnati Police Department.

Racine's current police chief, Art Howell, announced last year he would be retiring at the end of 2020.

However, in December, Howell said he would stay on until a new police chief was hired on March 31st, whichever one came first.
