Racine police investigating stabbing/attempted homicide; suspect taken into custody

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Jacques Pissard, 45, was arrested in connection to the stabbing near N. Main and English Streets in Racine. Authorities say Pissard was taken into custody for attempted first degree intentional homicide.

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police are currently investigating a stabbing/attempted homicide near N. Main St. and English St. 

According to Police, officers responded to the area for a disturbance call around 2:15 a.m., Tuesday morning. While on scene, officers discovered an adult female suffering from several life-threatening stab wounds. She was transported to Froedtert Hospital for her injuries. 

An adult male was taken into custody at the scene. 

Racine PD is currently investigating the incident, and updates will be released as more information becomes available.
